Impact Testing was established as an independent service provider for the child care industry, so that centre operators could feel confident that their softfall material complied with the current Australian Standards (AS 4422) and ACECQA's National Quality Standards.
We also provide our services to schools, councils and other playground sectors.
Our new state of the art equipment is a purpose developed instrument conforming to requirements laid down by Australian Standards with the latest in electronics and software design.
Located in Frenchs Forest in Sydney, we are happy to travel beyond the metropolitan area to service the needs of our customers.
SERVICES
On-site Fall-Height Testing of Playgrounds to AS4422
We are available to test all types of surfaces including:
Loose Fill (Bark or Sand)
Synthetic Grass
Rubber
The test equipment is designed in accordance with the Australian Standards and calibrated regularly by Accusto-Scan.
This give us the confidence that the test is always performed to the highest standard.
The equipment displays the results graphically and computes the Head Injury Criteria (HIC), Severity Index (SI) and g Max values (g).
The results are downloaded and you will receive a comprehensive report and a Compliance Certificate. This Certificate is valid for 3 years in accordance with the National Quality Standards.
